THE PERFECT SIZE IN THREE STEPS
Step 1: Determine your lug width
Option 1 & 3 - Use a metric ruler or caliper to measure the distance between the inside of the lugs in millimeters (mm).
Step 2: Determine your wrist size/strap length
Option 1 - Measure your wrist with a soft tape measure by wrapping it around your wrist at the exact area you wear your watch.
Option 3 - Wrap a piece of thread around your wrist where you wear your watch and make a mark. Next, lay the thread out and measure the distance from the starting point to your mark on the thread.
If you have a strap that fits well, measure both the long and short parts (excluding the buckle) in millimeters. For example, if the long strap is 120mm and the short one is 70mm, choose those sizes from the product page. If your size isn’t listed, email us for help.
Tip: As an example, if your wrist measures 164mm, which is at the end of the 153mm–164mm range, a 120/70 strap will fit perfectly. No need to size up. For any questions, feel free to contact us before purchasing.
Step 3: The fun part - Switch up your new strap.
Tapered straps start out wider at the lugs (the end that attaches to your watch) and narrow (taper) toward the direction of the tail and the buckle. So for example, if your Rolex Sumbariner has a 20mm lug width and you want a tapered strap, then you would choose a 20/18 strap. This means the lug is 20mm wide and the buckle/tail width is 18mm. Keep in mind that the higher number is the lug width and the smaller number is the buckle/tail width.
