Craftsmanship Guarantee
CRAFTSMANSHIP GUARANTEE
Every Bas and Lokes product is handcrafted in our Sydney studio using carefully selected materials and made to be enjoyed for many years.
If your product develops a fault in materials or workmanship under normal use, we'll make it right.
WHAT IS COVERED
Our Craftsmanship Guarantee covers manufacturing defects, including:
- Faults in workmanship.
- Stitching or construction failures under normal use.
- Faults in materials.
- Hardware failures resulting from normal use.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Bas and Lokes will repair, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue at our discretion.
Each claim is individually assessed by Bas and Lokes after reviewing photographs of the product.
WHAT ISN’T COVERED
Our Craftsmanship Guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- The natural ageing and patina of leather.
- Scratches, scuffs or stains.
- Accidental damage.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper care.
- Damage resulting from overloading the product or using it for purposes for which it was not designed.
- Modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than Bas and Lokes.
REQUESTING ASSISTANCE
If you believe your product has developed a manufacturing fault, please email us and include:
- Your order number (if available).
- Photographs clearly showing the issue.
- A brief description of what has occurred.
We’ll review your claim and advise the next steps as soon as possible.
If the issue is determined to have resulted from accidental damage, misuse or normal wear, it may not be covered under our Craftsmanship Guarantee. However, where possible, we’re always happy to assess whether a repair can be carried out for a reasonable service fee.
Our goal is to create products you’ll enjoy for many years. Even when an issue falls outside our Craftsmanship Guarantee, we’ll always do our best to help wherever possible.
